El evento se celebrará el 9 de diciembre en el Microsoft Theater de Los Ángeles
Recientemente, se han revelado los seis títulos que competirán para obtener el GOTY (Game Of The Year) en The Game Awards, el evento presentado por Geoff Keighley que lleva celebrándose ya varios años. En 2021 los contendientes al GOTY como bien han sido revelados serán: Deathloop, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart y Resident Evil 8: Village.
